Midi Health Cost: Visit Prices, Insurance and What Is Extra
What Midi Health costs without insurance and with it, read from Midi's own pages on 7 November 2026: visit fees, what is billed separately, and who it excludes.
By Julian Caraulani · Updated November 7, 2026
Midi Health charges per visit, not per month, and its pricing page lists a self-pay price for each visit type (see the table below). Insurance is billed where Midi is in-network. Medication and labs are billed separately. For monthly plans, see our live price table.

Everything below was read on Midi's own pages on 7 November 2026. We list Midi unpaid, and the facts here come from its pages, not from any arrangement with it.
What a Midi visit costs without insurance
Midi's pricing page gives two visit types:
| Visit | Length, per Midi | Self-pay price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| First visit | 30 minutes | $250 | Midi Health |
| Returning visit | 15 minutes | $150 | Midi Health |
Midi's menopause page, in its FAQ, says self-pay visits carry no membership fee (Midi Health). So there is no monthly charge to cancel, and each visit is paid for as it happens.
The first visit is described as a time to "dig into your symptoms, health history, and goals, then build a care plan tailored to you" (Midi Health).
What your first year can add up to
The table below is our arithmetic using only the two self-pay visit prices in the first table. It covers visits alone. It leaves out medication, labs and imaging, because Midi bills those separately and publishes no price for them. How many follow-ups you need is a decision for you and your clinician, so these rows are examples, not a recommendation.
| First visit plus | Visit total (self-pay), our arithmetic |
|---|---|
| No follow-ups | $250 |
| 2 follow-ups | $550 |
| 4 follow-ups | $850 |
| 6 follow-ups | $1,150 |
Midi's own pages do not state how many follow-ups a typical patient has. Its description is that you "follow up as often as you need to adjust things as they change" (Midi Health).

What Midi bills separately
Midi's pricing and menopause FAQs both say that prescriptions, labs and imaging are billed separately from the visit, and the menopause page adds supplements (Midi Health, Midi Health).
On medication cost, Midi's FAQ says the price depends on the medication, formulation, dose and your prescription coverage, and that many FDA-approved forms, including generics, are covered by insurance (Midi Health). It publishes no medication price list on those pages, so the visit fee is only part of the bill.
The difference matters when you compare programs. Several competitors bundle medication and clinician access into one monthly price. Midi's model is closer to visiting a doctor's office: you pay for the visit, then fill the prescription at a pharmacy. Our HRT cost guide explains each billing model.
For generics, the FDA says "FDA-approved generic medicines work in the same way and provide the same clinical benefit and risks as their brand-name counterparts" (FDA). Ask whether a generic is suitable for you. Our estradiol cost guide covers cash prices for the drug itself.
Does Midi take insurance?
Often, yes. Midi says it "is in-network with most PPO plans" and that "Coverage, deductibles, coinsurance, and copays vary by plan" (Midi Health). If Midi is in-network with your plan, its FAQ says your insurer determines what you owe, typically a copay or a deductible (Midi Health).
Three limits are stated on the same page:
- "Medicare is out of network with Midi." Medicare beneficiaries can book as self-pay, but "cannot submit any claims related to Midi visits, medications or associated services."
- "We're not able to accept Medicaid or Medi-Cal patients at this time."
- Midi lists "most PPO plans." It does not list HMO plans as in-network, so check yours before booking.
Midi's page says to enter your state and carrier on the page to see whether you are in-network, and that after you register, "our system will let you know right away whether you're in-network or out-of-network" (Midi Health). If you are out-of-network, you can book self-pay instead.
Midi also says "Your HSA or FSA can be used to pay for Midi visits and services" (Midi Health). For how plans treat HRT more broadly, read does insurance cover HRT and our Medicare guide.
Midi Health reviews
Trustpilot shows Midi Health at 4.1 out of 5 from 1,808 reviews, read on 7 November 2026 (Trustpilot). That score covers the whole brand, including its weight care, not only menopause visits. Trustpilot scores shift over time and reflect who chooses to post.
The FDA warning-letter database showed no results for Midi in our check on 7 November 2026, searching on the control term estradiol. That is a statement about that database on that day, not an endorsement. Our Midi Health review sets out the full record, including what we could not find: medication prices, lab prices and cancellation terms for missed visits.
How Midi compares on cost
The table shows billing structure, not a ranking.
| Midi Health | A monthly-plan program | |
|---|---|---|
| How you pay | Per visit | Monthly price |
| Clinician visit | Self-pay first and returning visit prices above, or billed to insurance | Usually included in the monthly price |
| Medication | Billed separately, at a pharmacy or by Midi | Often included, depending on the plan |
| Labs | Billed separately, price not published | Varies by program |
| Insurance | In-network with most PPO plans | Usually cash only |
The lowest all-in plan on our table is Winona at $39 a month (Progesterone capsules, auto-refill, 30 or 90-day supply). That figure includes medication, so it is not directly comparable to a visit fee. A per-visit model can cost less over a year if your insurance covers the visit and the generic drug, and more if you pay cash for everything. The right comparison is your own plan against each program's bill. See the best online HRT programs for the scored list, or Winona's costs as one example of a monthly-priced product list.
FAQ
How much does Midi Health cost without insurance?
Midi's pricing page lists a self-pay price for the first visit and a lower one for each returning visit; both are in the table at the top of this guide. Medication, labs and imaging are billed separately, and Midi publishes no price for them on the pages we read. The total depends on how many follow-ups you book.
Does Midi take insurance?
Midi says it is in-network with most PPO plans, so many members pay a copay or deductible instead of the cash visit fee. It does not accept Medicare claims, Medicaid or Medi-Cal. Enter your state and carrier on Midi's pricing page to see whether you are in-network before booking.
How much is Midi without insurance for the whole first year?
Visits alone are the first-visit price plus the returning-visit price for each follow-up, and the second table above works out four examples (our arithmetic). Prescriptions and labs are billed on top, and Midi publishes no price for them. Your own follow-up count is something to settle with your clinician.
Does Midi charge a membership fee?
Midi's menopause page says self-pay visits carry no membership fee (Midi Health). You pay per visit. Because there is no subscription, our source pages show no cancellation charge, though we found no stated policy on missed visits.
Are prescriptions included in the Midi visit price?
No. Midi's pricing FAQ says prescriptions, labs and imaging are billed separately from the visit (Midi Health). If you have prescription coverage, your plan may pay some or all of a generic drug's cost. Your clinician considers cost alongside effectiveness and your preferences.
Can I use an HSA or FSA at Midi?
Yes. Midi's pricing page says your HSA or FSA can be used to pay for its visits and services (Midi Health). Keep your receipts, since your plan administrator decides what qualifies under your own account rules.
Is Midi Health legit?
Midi shows 4.1 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 1,808 reviews as of 7 November 2026, and our FDA warning-letter check found no results. Read the Midi Health review for the full record, and compare programs on the live price table.
