Winona Cost (Nov 2026): Product Prices, Refills and Yearly Totals

What each Winona product costs

Winona's words are "From" on most lines, and it says the total "varies between patients" (Winona FAQ). Winona prices these on its product page.

Winona's shop also sells a face cream and a hair serum. We leave those out because this site covers menopause hormone therapy, not cosmetics. They are priced on the same product page.

The FDA says plainly: "Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved." (FDA) That covers the finished cream, even where an ingredient in it is approved. Our guide to compounded vs FDA-approved HRT explains the difference.

What the price includes

Winona says "your online menopause care is included in the cost of your treatment" (Winona). Its product pages list these under "Your prescription includes": "Free, unlimited access to a dedicated doctor" and free shipping (Winona). None of the pages we read names a monthly membership charge or a separate visit fee.

Winona also says it "does not require any type of bloodwork or hormone testing to be prescribed an HRT treatment plan" (Winona FAQ), so its pages show no lab fee.

Two things can add to the listed price:

On the last line, the terms say "Your Subscription Fee may be increased or decreased if your prescription changes" (Winona terms).

How refills change the yearly total

A price "per month" and a charge every 28 days are not the same thing. Winona's FAQ says "Payment and prescription for a 30-day supply are automatically processed every 28 days, while those for a 90-day supply are processed every 84 days" (Winona FAQ). That is 13 charges in 364 days.

The totals below are our arithmetic, using each starting price as the charge per refill. Winona's terms say the fee and billing interval "will be disclosed to you at checkout or enrollment" (Winona terms), so confirm the amount there.

Which products you need is a decision for you and a prescriber, and this table is not a suggestion of one.

Vaginal Estrogen Cream is different. It "must be requested as needed" (Winona FAQ), so it has no fixed yearly total.

A 90-day supply. Winona's product pages show no separate 90-day price, so we cannot say whether it costs less. Ask before you choose it.

Insurance, HSA and FSA

Winona "doesn't directly work with insurance companies and is not able to bill your insurance provider on your behalf" (Winona help). You pay first, and "you can file a claim and submit your receipts to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement" (Winona help). Whether you get anything back depends on your plan.

Cancelling, pausing and refunds

Winona's FAQ says "you can cancel your Winona subscriptions at any time" and "You can pause your subscription for up to 90 days in your account settings" (Winona FAQ).

Refunds run on a short window. Winona says "Orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or returned after the 24-hour cancellation window has passed" (Winona FAQ). Since refills process on their own, check your next refill date if you plan to stop.

Does Winona charge a membership or visit fee?

None of the pages we read names one. Winona says online care "is included in the cost of your treatment" (Winona).

Why might Winona cost more than twelve times the monthly price?

Because a 30-day supply bills every 28 days. That is 13 charges in a year, as the yearly table above shows.

Does Winona take insurance?

No. Winona says it is "not able to bill your insurance provider on your behalf" (Winona help). You can pay with an HSA or FSA card, or file a claim yourself.

Is shipping included in the Winona price?

Standard shipping is. Winona says "All packages are shipped free of charge via USPS Ground Advantage" (Winona FAQ). Faster options cost extra, as listed above.
